Save Me

Are your ears really closed that tight?
Will you join me when I dance upon the night?
All I know is your not there, for me to catch your fall

The broke promise ring lies on my pillow
As I lie in a mess of letters
and scattered memories
The breeze seeps through your window
While I write your name, on the wall,
next to the cracked picture frame

I‘m bending down to wash my face
in the streams of blood that surround this place
I‘m screaming to the sky
and watch the terror on your face as you slip away and die

The broke promise ring lies on my pillow
As I lie in a mess of letters
and scattered memories
The breeze seeps through your window
While I write your name, on the wall,
next to the cracked picture frame

When I come to save you
Will you grasp my hand for help?
But let go when I begin to slip?
Save Me
